This is what I have tried.
Experience before certainty.
Designed for students from Grade 6 onward.
You need to start figuring yourself out.
The world will keep changing. So will you. FutureReady helps you explore what is out there, try things before you commit to them, understand what those experiences teach you about yourself, and build evidence behind the direction you choose.
Try more. Know yourself better. Prove what you're capable of.

The idea
Most students are asked some version of the same question far too early: What do you want to be? But how are you supposed to know before you've had the chance to experience enough of the world? Future Ready starts somewhere else. We believe your job is not to predict your entire future. Your job is to explore, pay attention, learn about yourself, build capability, and make your next decision with better evidence than your last one.
The Future Ready Six
Your answers today may not be your answers two years from now. Good. Every experience should teach you something. Every new challenge should give you more information about yourself. Every mistake should leave you knowing something you didn't know before. Being Future Ready means becoming increasingly capable of saying:
Experience before certainty.
Reflection turns experience into self-knowledge.
Strengths revealed through doing.
Growth begins with knowing what isn't strong yet.
Purpose is something you work toward, not something you magically find.
Show why your next step makes sense.
You never finish the Future Ready Six. You grow into better answers.
How FutureReady Works
You learn by doing. That is why FutureReady is built around a simple cycle.
Explore unfamiliar careers. Hear from people doing interesting work. Join challenges. Build something. Research something. Attend an Insight Session. Test an idea. Work on a problem you have never encountered before.
Don't ask, ‘Is this my career?’ Ask: ‘What can I learn by trying this?’
What energized you? What bored you? What came naturally? What was difficult? How did you work with other people? What did you care enough about to keep going when it became frustrating? Every experience gives you information about the world. The important ones also give you information about yourself.
Build something. Write something. Research something. Present something. Lead something. Improve something. Create something. Document what happened when it didn't work. Over time, your experiences become evidence of what you can do and why your direction makes sense.
And then you try again.
Because your future will never stop changing. Neither should you.
Your FutureReady World
At 13, you may think you know exactly what you want to do. At 15, one experience might make you question it. At 17, you might discover a field you didn't even know existed. At 20, the kind of problem you care about may matter more than the career title you once imagined.
That doesn't mean you've failed. That's what exploration is supposed to do.
FutureReady gives you somewhere to return to the Six again and again. As your experiences grow, your answers should become richer. More thoughtful. More honest. More supported by evidence. Not necessarily more certain.
Sometimes progress means having a wiser next step, not a final destination.
Proof of Impact
Grades matter. Credentials matter. But they don't tell the whole story. What have you attempted? What have you created? What problem have you investigated? When have you worked with other people? What have you learned from something that failed? What did you get better at? What have you contributed? FutureReady helps you build a living record of those experiences.
Your Proof of Impact isn't a trophy cabinet. It is evidence of who you are becoming.
Choose Better
Eventually, you'll have decisions to make. Which subjects should I take? What should I explore next? Is university right for me? What kind of university would fit me? Which career paths deserve more investigation? Which opportunities should I pursue? FutureReady won't make those decisions for you. It helps you become better prepared to make them yourself.
And when a counselor, university, mentor, or employer asks: ‘Why this direction?’
You'll have evidence.
And when you're ready, discover universities and opportunities that fit the person you're becoming - not just the marks you've earned.
Your next step
It needs curiosity. Experience. Self-awareness. A willingness to grow. And enough evidence to make your next move with confidence.
Start where you are. Try something. Learn something. Build proof.
